All of us who enjoy live performances are saying, “told you so!”

Now, the data backs up what we knew all along…enjoying a concert, listening to the orchestra, singing in the choir, wondering through a museum – research shows that engaging in these activities can be beneficial to your health!
A recent study in Norway of over 50,000 people – featured in the November 2011 issue of Good Housekeeping Magazine – demonstrated that those who actively participated in cultural activities were more likely to have high self-scores when it came to their physical and emotional health. They key to better health? Whatever the cultural activity – whether you enjoy Nickleback or The Nutcracker – just make sure the activity is emotionally engaging for you and creative!
Don’t miss the upcoming production of The Nutcracker this weekend! Featuring the professionally-trained dancers from the PA Academy of Ballet!
