DREXEL HILL, PA – October 22, 2015 Upper Darby Performing Arts Center proudly announces the exciting 2015-2016 season line-up!

Upper Darby Performing Arts Center’s season includes several holiday performances for the entire family; the legendary Irish singer Phil Coulter, fresh from performances throughout the USA including Carnegie Hall; a master magician who recently toured with the blockbuster Broadway and national tour of The Illusionists; entertaining children’s theater performances from the prolific professional touring company, Theatreworks USA; an exciting season of moving classical music presented by the Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra and much more! Upper Darby Performing Arts Center’s 2015 – 2016 season offers something for everyone!

Located in Drexel Hill on 601 N. Lansdowne Avenue, UDPAC is a 1,600 seat, state-of-the art venue. It is a cultural and artistic resource that serves the community by offering affordable family-friendly entertainment for Delaware County and the Philadelphia region since 1988. UDPAC offers various arts related events, musical activities and performances throughout the year that cater to young and old alike.

Harry Dietzler, Executive Director of Upper Darby Performing Arts Center, continues to focus on the mission of UDPAC providing a vital and affordable community cultural a resource for all to enjoy. “I think there are many families in Delaware County who cannot afford the high price of Center City tickets plus the cost of parking,” said Dietzler. “But our performances don’t cut back on excellence. We offer affordable shows with excellent quality. And our Nutcracker gets you in the holiday spirit before the craziness of December!”

The season finale is La Boutique Fantasque (The Magic Toy Shop) presented by PA Academy of Ballet Society and The Philadelphia School of Circus Arts. Dancers and circus performers combine in this exciting and enchanting story of the toymaker who creates dancing dolls in his toyshop and how they come to life.

The Upper Darby Performing Arts Center and Upper Darby Summer Stage are jointly sponsored by the Upper Darby School District Board of School Directors and Upper Darby Township Mayor and Council through the Department of Recreation and Leisure Services.
