Featuring four world-class jugglers in an entertaining evening for the entire family on Saturday, April 2 at 7:30 PM
March 18, 2016 • Drexel Hill, PA – Four world-class juggling artists take to the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center stage to present “Super Stars of Juggling!” on Saturday April 2 at 7:30 PM, a delightful mix of comedy, balancing stunts, juggling, mime, magic and audience participation. It is a show for all ages and audience members will be treated to an inspiring evening of surprises and amazement.
Rarely is a group with this much juggling expertise assembled in one performance. The four individual juggling celebrities have perfected their craft over many years and have performed for audiences around the globe. When combined to perform in one performance, the consummate professionals engage the audience with their technical skills, personalities and unique styles.

Performer and entertainer Jen Slaw, a graduate of Upper Darby High School, travels throughout the United States inspiring audiences of all kinds to tap into their potential. She has been featured on The Late Show with David Letterman, Good Day Philadelphia, and Huffington Post Live. Michael Karas is an award-winning juggler based in New York City. He has performed center court for the Knicks at Madison Square Garden and has won the Amateur Night at the Apollo Show twice! He recently performed for President Obama at the White House. Described as an uber-juggler and theatrical chameleon, Michael Menes performs throughout the world in festivals, tv shows, conferences, colleges and universities. Michael Lane Trautman is an accomplished mime, an inventive juggler, physical comedian and clown who has been performing since 1976.
Back to emcee the event is Jackie Erickson, “Mr. E,” who has supported the art of juggling in the region for several decades. For years Erickson has assembled esteemed jugglers, celebrating the artform of juggling with audiences in “Mr. E’s Night of the Jugglers” here at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center.
The high-energy evening of entertainment is inspirational for the audience members as the art of juggling is a metaphor for the many ways individuals must balance their daily lives. “Our professionals redefine what is possible,” said Erickson. “The combined years of practice and performance that our four juggling stars bring to the event and their interaction with the audience will inspire, delight and energize!”
