The Upper Darby Summer Stage Shooting Stars present a “Holiday Spectacular” a musical showcase of song and dance performed to favorite tunes of the holiday season. The spirited and lively performance is fun and entertaining for family members of all ages. Shows are on December 16 at 7:30 pm and December 17 at 2:00 pm at Upper Darby Performing Arts Center, 601 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA.
Audience members will be treated to Broadway-style production numbers complete with sparkling costumes and a festive set as the talented members of the ensemble share Christmas memories throughout the 90-minute production.
Tickets are affordably priced at $7 – $10 and may be purchased by calling the box office at 610.622.1189 or by visiting www.udpac.org. Proceeds from ticket sales support the Shooting Stars outreach program, entertaining seniors throughout the region.
The Shooting Stars’ Holiday Spectacular showcases the talented singers and dancers performing seasonal favorites with toe-tapping fun including, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Here Comes Santa Claus,” “Do You Hear What I Hear?,” “Carol of the Bells,” “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” a tribute to “The Polar Express,” “Sparklejollytwinklejingley” from “Elf,” and many, many more!

Recently featured on TV performing in the 6ABC Thanksgiving Day parade, the 30+ Shooting Stars members from Upper Darby Summer Stage participants are ambassadors of the program all year long. Selected by audition, the members rehearse for countless hours and participate for the pure joy of performing.
In addition to performances at Walt Disney World, Longwood Gardens, and at Delaware County’s Rose Tree Park Summer Festival, the Shooting Stars take their shows on the road to entertain the elderly throughout the Delaware Valley.
