Jonathan Mesich (Scenic Artist) grew up in Indiana and received BA in scene design from Purdue University 2014. Jonathan had few design credits from Purdue such as “The Monkey King” and “The Insect Play”. Jonathan received the first international credit of “The Monkey King” which was Jonathan’s first scenic design also. Jonathan moved to Midland, Texas for 10-month internship at Midland Community Theatre (August 2014-June 2015) which was a good experience. After the internship, Jonathan returned to Indiana and volunteered to work on small community for “Young Frankenstein” as assistant scenic designer in Fall 2015. Currently a grad student, as a scenic designer at Temple University. It’ll be Jonathan’s third year this fall and will be designing “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” which opens this Fall. Jonathan also designed for Opera, “Hit the Wall” and “MFA Rep” in Temple University.
