There's much more to do at Summer Stage!
To complement our Children's Theater day program, Summer Stage offers a series of theater programs specifically designed to allow participants to expand their skills. Our largest production of the summer is our annual Mainstage Musical. Auditions for this full-length musical are open to young people between the ages of 18 and 28. Those cast have the opportunity to work with professional artistic and technical staff to launch a full-scale production. Our Mainstage productions have been described as "Broadway in Delaware County".
Cabaret and Dance Troupe provide those with musical and dance talents a time to shine, both in shaping musical numbers and choreographing dance routines. For participants, the cabaret and dance troupe allow a time to experiment with new skills. At the end of the summer, they share their talents in a company-wide night of song and dance.
